Minutes of Meeting Of COC held at ITEF Bangalore on 18th July 2011.
The Meeting was presided over by Com C.G.Prabhu Vice President of COC ,Which was attended by representatives of NFPE, Postal Accounts, AG’s, ITEF, Central Excise Inspectors Association. CGHS Ground Water Board.
The General Secretary briefed the members agenda regarding the meeting and welcomed members for the meeting.
It was informed by the General Secretary that two representative from Ground Water Board will be present on 22nd July at New Delhi to attend the convention on PFRDA. Who will represent COC.
The National Executive Committee meeting of Confederation to be held at Chennai will be attended by Com P.S.Prasad General Secretary, Com Seethalakshmi Vice President COC, Com Madhusudhan Asst Secretary COC , Com Nalani from ITEF, The points to be discussed at NE meeting of Confederation was discussed in length, especially on 14 charter of demands. CGHS improvement and Health insurance scheme, parity in pay scales, etc. The Meeting approved the same.
The meeting also decided that to have a women’s convention on 15th September at Bangalore and constitute a women’s subcommittee.
The Meeting also discussed the steps to improve the functioning of COC, so that more leaders will participate in COC meetings.
The Meeting also discussed the current Health Insurance scheme and decided to educate the employees of advantages of CGHS scheme over Insurance scheme.
The General Secretary also thanked the members for cooperation extended in conducting the COC convention held on 21st April 2011. The need to participate in more numbers in coming days.
The meeting also noted that large number of Central Govt. Employees participated on 23rd June 2011 JCTU rally on price rise .
The Accounts of the COC was also discussed .
The meeting ended with vote of thanks.
